StewMac Parsons Street Dogear P-90 PickupsThe original one pickup wonder. Designed for and compatible with single-pickup guitars like Gibson Les Paul and SG Junior models, this simple doggie is made to growl!Developed by tone expertsOur own Erick Coleman (a single-pickup guitar expert) tracked down priceless vintage P-90s from the 50s, meticulously studying the materials and construction that give these pickups their bold tone. We specifically tuned the pickup for the bridge position and the results were incredible!More than a one trick ponyThe Alnico 5 magnets have a tone that's bright and glassy, with great mid-range punch, and clear, smooth bass. It's perfect for detailed cleans and ferocious overdriven tones. By working your volume and tone knobs you can get a huge range of sounds from this pickup. We build them like they used to!Named for the famous Kalamazoo street where the original P-90 was born, we preserve that lineage in every pickup. Each one is wound with original-style enameled coil wire and unpotted for an authentic, slightly grittier sound. Please note: unlike other pickups, the Dogear P-90 is not height adjustable. The cover is made for the bridge position and may not be suitable for neck position installations.SpecificationsMedium output single-coil pickupPolepiece spread: 1.97" (50mm)Plain enamel 42 AWG coil wireUnpotted like the originalsAlnico 5 magnetsOriginal-spec nickel-plated polepiece screwsSingle-conductor braided shield lead wiresOutput8.3K ohm rangeDimensionsLength including mounting tabs: 4.685" (119mm)Length not including mounting tabs: 3.36" (85.5mm)Mounting screw spacing: 3.819" (97mm)Width: 1.59" (40mm)
