[custom_html] The 203-6688 Bissell geared belt shown here can be located on the left side of your vacuum cleaner. This belt works with your brushroll to allow your vacuum cleaner to operate efficiently and is the shorter of the two belts in your machine. Your belt may need replacing if you notice your machine not cleaning as well as it had before or if your brush roll stops turning. To replace the belt, turn the machine off and unplug it from the outlet. Remove both tanks on the machine. The front nozzle needs to be unscrewed and removed. Turn the machine on its side with the cord side down. Unscrew the 2 black screws you will find holding the clear end cap on. Remove the pivot arm by gently lifting it up and then you are able to remove the small brush belt.
